Karla Frank, LMBT #15006, joined Metamorphic Massage For Women in June of 2017. She obtained her massage education at Miller Motte College in Wilmington, NC, and became a licensed therapist in 2015. While in school, she focused on Prenatal, Myofascial, and Lymphatic techniques.
Prior to becoming a massage therapist, Karla worked in the corporate realm, where she found the long hours and travel to not be what she wanted. After working with a career counselor, she was able to align her overwhelming compassion with a career that would allow her to help more people. Karla was very happy to discover that she had a gift for massage therapy, which aligns with her more free-spirited nature.
Karla’s love for working with pregnant women was sparked in 2013, when she became a postpartum doula. She is currently taking a break from that work work to focus on her massage career. She has studied with Claire Marie Miller, and is a certified Nurturing The Mother© prenatal specialist.
In her free time, Karla can be found living simply in the countryside, exploring nature with her husband and two dogs.
